Really do make sure those wires don't vanish into their holes and fall down the back! "Gain access to the back" sounds very easy, but isn't! I put stout bulldog clips on mine to stop this happening.

We've tried this but unfortunately didnt get the element back in properly and the drum was catching is when we did a trial wash. We tried to drain the machine before opening the back but lots of water flooded into the base of the machine. Will it be safe to use once it has dried out? My Flymo keeps stopping and starting, then stops completely after a few minutes and then I have to restart it again with the button. Any ideas on what that could be, a loose connection in the switch maybe?

Shaun you are an absolute legend. We had the F05 problem on our Hotpoint washer, my Molly was in tears and getting ready to call out a repair guy. I fixed it in 2 minutes as per your instructions. Result? I'm now king for a day!!!!!

Some of the newer models have 2 similar devices of different farats. Mine has 9 and 15. Got the 9 and it worked. But was 50/50 chance. Found the second one when I opened the machine.

Legend! Another Swedish dishwasher saved. A tip. if the heat exchanger feels stuck it likely is because of years of heat. Just use more force after you removed all screws and unclipped. Also, you should add Siemens to the title as they are the same machines.

I think its a definite that you put an advisory notice on this video " may cause utter complete rage" . My seal wont even stay on,then wrestling with it sliding all over the place because its got washing up liquid on it,get half of it on then that pops off trying to get another part on,gave up im getting someone in to do it,i yhink irs best for the future survival of my washing machine. Thos is coming from a gas engineer who has absolutely no yrouble fixing some of the most awkward boilers going.

He was working I open3r it up, the dirt was going outside of thr bag i put a new bag on. Some.dust blew about when cleaning it up may have fallen.in.the lid. The filer underside isn't as white as it was now. Henry won't work. Literally just happened..nothing yo fo with thr power what could it be,?

Hi just received a led light for my fridge freezer and it was is a plastic bag with a bit of bubble wrap around it, no box of fragile on the wrapping and it was pushed through my letterbox quite easily of being damaged, you just need to pack better and put fragile on the envelope or packaging.

I have a Hotpoint as,I couldnt afford to purchase the one I wanted. Had to pause half way as I thought how incredibly stuoid to haave the filter right at the bottom. Why is it not made higher like the LGs or Samsung. Makes me not want to clean the filter

Prior to watching your video, I was expecting to see three wires given the genuine replacement element had three terminals, but it turned out the middle one is not used. This originally left me believing the non-existent third wire had come off during changing the element because on completion the oven didn’t work. It was only after I reset the clock did it start working.

Are these switches universal parts for all flymos?

Great video! Just got my Bosch classixx 5.5 up and running again. The brushes I received (official ones from Bosch for this serial number, from Bosch's own website) did not fit: that makes no sense from Bosch. I had to sand of the side. It took a bit longer, but it fixed the machine. Many thanks for this great video!
